Looking for better auto insurance rates for your Bentley Continental GTC? Having to pay for pricey Bentley Continental GTC insurance can deplete your savings account, especially in this economy. Comparing price quotes can lower your rates and help to make sure you’re not throwing money away.
Due to the large number of options when it comes to auto insurance, it is very difficult to find the lowest price auto insurance company.
It’s smart to take a look at other company’s rates occasionally because auto insurance prices fluctuate regularly. Despite the fact that you may have had the best rate on Continental GTC coverage at your last renewal the chances are good that you can find a lower premium rate today. Forget all the misinformation about auto insurance because I’m going to let you in on the secrets to the right way to save money, get proper deductibles and limits, all at the lowest rate.
Finding affordable insurance coverage is easy if you know what you’re doing. In a nutshell, every vehicle owner who shops for insurance coverage will more than likely be able to lower their premiums. Nevertheless, drivers need to have an understanding of how insurance companies price insurance differently and use this information to your advantage.
Some insurers don’t list their entire list of discounts very clearly, so the following list contains both well-publicized and also the lesser-known discounts that may be available.
One last thing about discounts, most of the big mark downs will not be given to the entire cost. Most only cut individual premiums such as liability and collision coverage. So when it seems like you could get a free auto insurance policy, that’s just not realistic. Any amount of discount will positively reduce your policy premium.
A list of companies and a partial list of their discounts are:
When quoting, ask every company to apply every possible discount. Some of the discounts discussed earlier may not be offered in every state.
Car insurance companies such as 21st Century, Allstate and State Farm seem to constantly run ads on TV and radio. All the ads make the point about saving some big amount after switching to their company. How does each company charge you less for auto insurance? It’s all in the wording.
Car insurance companies have specific characteristics for the right customer that will be a good risk. For example, a desirable risk could possibly be over the age of 50, has few claims, and has excellent credit. Any customer who fits those characteristics is entitled to the best price and have a good chance to save a lot of money.
Insureds who don’t meet these criteria will probably be forced to pay a higher rate and the customer buying from someone else. The ads state “people who switch” but not “everyone who gets a quote” save that much when switching. This is how companies can claim big savings.
Because of these techniques, drivers should do a price quote comparison at every renewal. It is impossible to predict which insurance companies will have better rates than you’re paying now.
When it comes to buying coverage for your vehicles, there isn’t really a perfect coverage plan. Everyone’s situation is a little different and your policy should reflect that. These are some specific questions may help highlight if your situation might need professional guidance.
If it’s difficult to answer those questions but one or more may apply to you, you may need to chat with an agent. If you want to speak to an agent in your area, complete this form or click here for a list of insurance companies in your area.
Learning about specific coverages of auto insurance can help you determine appropriate coverage at the best deductibles and correct limits. The coverage terms in a policy can be difficult to understand and even agents have difficulty translating policy wording. Listed below are the normal coverages found on the average auto insurance policy.
UM/UIM Coverage – This provides protection from other motorists when they either are underinsured or have no liability coverage at all. It can pay for medical payments for you and your occupants and also any damage incurred to your Bentley Continental GTC.
Due to the fact that many drivers only carry the minimum required liability limits, it doesn’t take a major accident to exceed their coverage limits. For this reason, having high UM/UIM coverages should not be overlooked. Most of the time your uninsured/underinsured motorist coverages do not exceed the liability coverage limits.
Medical costs insurance – Medical payments and Personal Injury Protection insurance pay for expenses for surgery, chiropractic care, nursing services, EMT expenses and doctor visits. They are often used in conjunction with a health insurance plan or if you do not have health coverage. They cover all vehicle occupants and also covers if you are hit as a while walking down the street. PIP is not universally available but it provides additional coverages not offered by medical payments coverage
Liability – Liability insurance can cover damage that occurs to other’s property or people. Coverage consists of three different limits, bodily injury per person, bodily injury per accident and property damage. You commonly see values of 25/50/25 that means you have a $25,000 limit per person for injuries, a limit of $50,000 in injury protection per accident, and property damage coverage for $25,000. Occasionally you may see one limit called combined single limit (CSL) which provides one coverage limit rather than limiting it on a per person basis.
Liability can pay for things like structural damage, medical services and loss of income. How much liability coverage do you need? That is a decision to put some thought into, but it’s cheap coverage so purchase higher limits if possible.
Collision coverage – This coverage will pay to fix damage to your Continental GTC from colliding with another vehicle or an object, but not an animal. You have to pay a deductible and then insurance will cover the remainder.
Collision can pay for things such as damaging your car on a curb, colliding with a tree, driving through your garage door, backing into a parked car and hitting a parking meter. Collision coverage makes up a good portion of your premium, so consider dropping it from vehicles that are 8 years or older. Another option is to increase the deductible to save money on collision insurance.
Comprehensive or Other Than Collision – This coverage covers damage from a wide range of events other than collision. A deductible will apply then your comprehensive coverage will pay.
Comprehensive coverage pays for things such as hitting a deer, fire damage, damage from getting keyed, damage from a tornado or hurricane and rock chips in glass. The maximum amount a auto insurance company will pay at claim time is the actual cash value, so if your deductible is as high as the vehicle’s value consider removing comprehensive coverage.
More affordable car insurance can be sourced from both online companies and with local insurance agents, so you need to shop car insurance with both in order to have the best chance of saving money. Some car insurance companies may not offer rates over the internet and many times these smaller companies sell through independent agents.
We just covered a lot of techniques to shop for 2008 Bentley Continental GTC insurance online. The key thing to remember is the more you quote car insurance, the higher your chance of finding affordable car insurance. Consumers could even find that the lowest rates come from a small local company. Some small companies may have significantly lower auto insurance rates on certain market segments as compared to the big name companies such as Allstate and Progressive.
